I had the pleasure to serve as a runner on several Series 15 episodes and Christmas Special for the classic British show ‘Call the Midwife’, scored by Maurizio Malagnini. As a runner, I aimed to create the most comfortable space possible for other engineers, clients, composers, and session musicians. This involves studio and live room arrangement, set up and pack down of microphones according to the I/O list, printing material, coffee and tea, client runs, ensuring an ideal temperature for musicians, and maintaining an organised environment.
